HOW WE ARE RESPONDING
Smiles of Solidarity is providing critical humanitarian war relief and recovery to address the most urgent needs as they evolve. Smiles of Solidarity provides clothes, non-perishable food, tactical medicines, hospital supplies, dental materials, and communication devices that get delivered by our volunteers and partners throughout Ukraine to regions that need it most such as Kyiv and Staryi Sambir.
Smiles of Solidarity is focusing on highlighting the importance of oral health for the health of the total body. We are working to scale up our distribution efforts to provide underserved populations in areas of political stress with easy daily access to dental hygiene materials and oral health care professionals. Solidifying the importance of dental preventative care will lessen the burden of future more invasive healthcare needs.
Smiles of Solidarity is advocating for Ukraine by educating about policies that strengthen and support Ukraine and its relationship with the United States. We are building trusted connections with civic leaders, activists, and elected officials in Ukraine, Poland, and the US to help relay critical information to the public, media, and government officials.
