Oral Health Education

IMG_1079_edited.jpg

We are partnering with the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and Yale University to investigate Longitudinal Changes in Oral Health Behaviors Associated with Educational Intervention in Secondary Language Schools. This program is significantly impacting the oral health of pediatric populations of first generation Americans. By focusing on a specific population of bi-lingual children, this project aims to address the health disparities faced by immigrant communities who may lack access to culturally and linguistically appropriate oral health education.
